Special requests

Every so often customers will come to us with special requests; each one is different from the next.

Mr. Grant is one of our pickup and delivery customers. He requested a pickup yesterday, and wondered if we would be able to hold his cleaning for two weeks, while he was away on holidays. We advised that it would not be a problem, and arranged a delivery after Mr. Grant’s return.

Mrs. Emme had just purchased a white lined linen dress. She wore it once and noticed that it wrinkled badly. She was hoping that we could steam her dress inside out and then package her dress, so she could travel to a wedding in Los Angeles. We steamed Mrs. Emme’s gown as per her request, and then packaged her dress with many layers of tissue paper, including between each fold, to ensure her dress would arrive ready to wear.

Mrs. Freedman found out at 11am that she had to catch a flight out that evening. She called Parkers to see if it were possible to have a suit cleaned prior to her trip. Parkers has two locations that offer same day service, provided the garments are in by 2pm. Yonge & Lawrence and Ellesmere & McCowan. Mrs. Freedman took her garments into our Lawrence location; they were cleaned, pressed and ready on time.
