3D Floral Wedding Gowns

One of our favourite wedding gown trends of the past year was, without a doubt, 3D floral appliqués. The soft, feminine effect they give even the sleekest of silhouettes made them a perfect addition to our already lengthy list of intricate details we love, like: sequins, lace, and beadwork. The layered fabric flowers popped up everywhere in 2016, especially on strapless bodices or flowing down a nice full tulle skirt.

Thankfully, we think we will be seeing a lot more of these 3D florals in 2017 because the trend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere! In fact, Oscar de la Renta’s 2017 bridal collection included some stunning 3D floral details and was able to give a nod to their feminine texture while still appearing sophisticated.
