Parkers Celebrates Earth Day with More Eco-Friendly Cleaning & Less Plastic

Toronto, Ontario – Parkers Custom Clothing Care invites consumers to get their clothes cleaned in a safe and eco-friendly process, honoring the 40th anniversary of Earth Day this April. Earth Day also marks the launch of Parkers’ new reusable garment bag program, making it even easier for Toronto consumers to be green!

Moving forward with phase two on the quest to be as eco-friendly as possible, last month Parkers introduced their new reusable bag program for folded shirts. They have reported that customers have given very positive feedback and continue to be grateful that Parkers is finding new ways for their business and their customers to be environmentally friendly. This year’s Earth Day seemed the appropriate time to take this idea a step further. Parkers is pleased to announce that they are now offering reusable garment bags for all items, not just folded shirts. This is a huge overhaul in terms for eliminating excess packaging and reducing unnecessary waste. Ads encourage consumers to “simply bring in your dirty drycleaning to us in this bag. On each visit the bag will be washed and we will place your clean, professional hand finished drycleaning inside.”
