Sorry wrong house

At the end of every season, Mr. & Mrs. Harper arrange to have their dry cleaning picked up, cleaned and delivered back. This season was no different.

Arrangements were made for the Harper’s cleaning to be picked up on Saturday morning.

Saturday morning when our driver arrived, he was greeted by a gentlemen telling him that there was no cleaning for pickup and that my driver must have the wrong house.

We tried calling the Harpers right away to see if they had moved and didn’t tell us the new address or if there was a mix-up. We were unable to reach them, so left a voice mail and waited to hear back.

This Monday morning we heard back from the Harpers; turned out that it was their son at the door who just assumed we had made a mistake. The Harper’s cleaning pickup has been rescheduled and now we know we have the right house.
