Bring travel home with Nate Berkus textiles

It’s no secret that we love fabrics. Can you blame us? We’re dry cleaners! We spend all day with different patterns and textures, restoring them to their cleanest, and occasionally gushing over unique fabrics we haven’t seen before.

When we read Architectural Digest’s post on Nate Berkus and his new travel inspired fabrics, the collection became an instant favourite. Unfortunately, the line is only available at Calico stores, which means that we’ll all be taking little trips down to Buffalo until they ship to Canada.

Since you can do just about anything with the fabrics, we’re excited to see what people come up with.

Enough stalling, let’s look at the fabric!

Pairing patterns with other patterns is difficult to do correctly in both fashion and home textiles. The stools, chesterfield, and throw pillows in this photo feature Nate Berkus’ new fabrics and effortlessly master this design challenge.

Safi comes in multiple colours and will keep your guests wondering if that upholstered stool their feet are resting on came from an exotic destination.

Solange is a nice soft pattern, looking both distressed and sophisticated in platinum. We’d love to see this used as a window treatment.

Belle Terre is our favourite of the collection and could be at home on a throw pillow or a boldly dressed armchair.
