Keep the Dress, Add the Tights

We’re not ready to give up on summer and judging from our weather lately, Toronto isn’t ready either! Sure, evenings are cooling down a little. And yes, our legs are starting to resent our refusal to switch from dresses to pants, but we have found ourselves a compromise.

As we head into the season of over-Instagrammed PSLs, let’s remember one truth: we love fall dresses paired with knit tights.  Bright tights, herringbone tights, or even nice thick black tights are all great when worn with the right autumn dress. You’re starting to daydream about them, aren’t you? We saved you a whole lot of trouble and have collected a few of our favourite dress + tights combinations.

You can even wear tights with the right pair of shorts!

If you’ve ever pulled a pair of tights out of your drawer, slid them on, and then wondered why the air felt immediately dustier, now is a good chance to remind you that clothing can get dusty when it has been in storage.
