“All You Need is a Light Jacket”

If you read that title and immediately remembered the scene in Miss Congeniality where someone is asked about her perfect date and she replies with “April 25th,” well done. You pass the rom-com trivia test! Although April 25th is still a few weeks away, we wanted to give you time to search for that light jacket! After so many months of carrying around our heaviest coats to keep us warm, a light jacket will feel so good.

For women, there are loads of options in the light jacket category, but we always reach for three favourites.

1. Leather Jacket 

You can’t go wrong with a leather jacket. Whether it adds to your monochromatic ensemble or brings an edge to your floral dress, a leather jacket is a staple in the spring (especially because it will still break those lakeside breezes).

2. Army Green Jacket

One of our favourite trends that keeps going strong is the army green light jacket. It is super casual and has the same dressed down effect as a pair of boyfriend jeans or an oversized sweatshirt.

3. Jean Jacket

Spring wouldn’t be complete without a few days in your favourite jean jacket. It’s the ultimate tag along on beach adventures when it’s not quite warm out or at a weekend family barbeque.
