Hunter Douglas Certified Cleaners
The kids might be heading back to school soon, but we’re still in the glorious part of the year where it’s light until after 8:00pm. For lots of parents, this means having to come up with some clever answers to the question: “Why do I have to go to bed if it’s still light outside?” Solution: great blinds. Earlier this year, we did an entire post about the beauty of window treatments and among their long list of benefits is creating a dark room for sleep.
In our last post, we talked about a lot of different options, including long blackout curtains or even sheer gauzy window treatments, but in this post, we’re focusing on Hunter Douglas blinds. These versatile blinds come in loads of options and some of our favourites (luminettes, silhouettes and duettes) are perfect for rooms where you want to be equally able to let in the light or create utter darkness without adding a lot of extra fabric around a window.
We’re sure you’ve noticed that many popular interior design trends right now are centered around a light and airy feel to a room. You know those awesome Scandinavian rooms that feel like you’re living in a cloud? Or sleek Palm Springs inspired condos? These blinds are perfect for that. They all but disappear when open, but will give a ton of privacy when closed.
