A man in a suit is definitely on our list of top looks, but today, we’re giving a shout out to the ladies rocking their blazers to the office and then probably out for a night on the town, because why not?
Everyone needs a great blazer in her closet. A semi-professional outfit gets an added boost with the addition of a blazer and if your job is a little more casual, tossing a blazer over a pair of jeans and a white tee is perfect for an informal meeting, especially if it’s a creative one. A blazer is your best friend when you need to elevate your look, but you’re too busy to overthink it.
A black blazer is a must, but we have been in love with pastel blazers in the spring for years and love a nice velvet blazer in the fall. Notice how we’re not even mentioning the white stuff we had coming down this week? We’re trying to pretend that it didn’t happen and are sticking with our spring inspiration.
Caring for blazers actually isn’t too difficult. You’ll want to take a peek at your clothing care tag, but in all likelihood, your blazer will be okay with some gentle spot cleaning and then sending it out to be dry cleaned after every few wears. You certainly don’t need to have it cleaned every time you wear it, but make sure you hang it up and give it some breathing space in your closet so that it’s not too wrinkly the next time you’re running out the door and need to look put together.
