How to Remove Common Stains

Obviously, we’d love to take care of every one of your clothing items or household textiles, but we know that some items don’t necessarily warrant a professional cleaning. Plus, there are inevitably moments in life when you’re unable to send your clothing out to the cleaners and you have to respond to a stain immediately in order to prevent irreversible damage. As clothing care specialists, we’d like to offer some tips for stain removal along with our friends from Now Linens.

Before going into the specifics, here are a couple of quick tips.

Act Fast – The sooner you can address a stain, the less chance it has to sink in and become permanent.

Think First – Before you dump some club soda on a stain, take a peek at the information below and use the proper process for that particular stain.

Admit Defeat – There are definitely stains that you can handle at home, but some are just plain nasty and require a professional. These stains usually have less to do with the stain and more to do with the fabric they’ve soiled. When in doubt, schedule a pick up from Parkers Custom Clothing Care at no extra charge.
