Inspired by: Summer Textiles

We may be slowly nearing the end of the dog days of summer, but we are definitely not ready to admit that the fall is approaching quite yet. Instead, we will sip up these last weeks of summer like a great milkshake, not caring who hears the straw gurgling. One of the ways that we like to extend summer is by keeping our summer textiles out as long as humanly possible. As soon as that first cold snap hits, we often have to give them up, but until then, our homes will stay decked out in our most summery fabrics.

Summer fabrics certainly can cover a broad spectrum, but most are literally lighter weight and often feature light colours or a pattern that conjures up feelings of early sunrises and beach houses. They are the easiest way to make your home feel seasonal and are, let’s face it, just plain fun.
