Dry Cleaning & Restoring Mementoes & Memories
As you know, we offer complete dry cleaning services. As we like to say (at least amongst ourselves!) “there’s nothing we can’t clean”. We regularly clean all types of clothing, including outerwear, footwear, special occasion garments, like wedding dresses, and specialty items, like your favourite baseball cap.
One of the side effects of our wide-ranging services is that we never know what will come in the door next. One recent example is when a Toronto high school asked us to clean some banners. Banners commemorated the athletic achievements of the school’s sports teams, some of them going back 40 years.
In a way, the banners represent the memories of the students who participated in the events, their classmates who cheered them on, and the teachers and staff who helped make it all happen.
So, as always, we did our best to preserve the banners and the memories they represented. We even “straightened out” a few of them so they looked like they were awarded just yesterday.
