Inspired by: Small Weddings
If you had to narrow down a wedding guest list to include only a dozen of the people closest to you, could you do it? We bet that after really thinking about it, the answer would be, “Yes.” As it turns out, it seems like the smaller the wedding, the easier the guest list becomes. This may seem counterintuitive, but the more space you have, the more decisions you have to make about who to include or exclude from the celebrations. Because we’re in the dry cleaning business, we spend a lot of time talking to brides and grooms about their wedding plans. Those who elope or decide to have incredibly small weddings tend to have a little less on their plate than those hosting a 200 person extravaganza (although those are really fun too!).
Plus, it’s truly lovely to think about vowing to spend the rest of your life with someone surrounded by the handful of people you know will also be there for all of life’s highs and lows.
The idea of a small wedding has always appealed to us, but lately, we’ve been finding ourselves drawn to these tiny affairs when looking through wedding blogs and seeing how elaborate they can be because the hosts aren’t paying for 200 of anything. Dinners can be fancier, wedding gowns can be dreamier, and venues can be extra intimate. Here are a few examples of just how gorgeous a small wedding can be.
Whether you’re planning on a tiny celebration with only your closest friends and family or are throwing a gigantic party, you’ll need to have your wedding gown cleaned when it’s all said and done. Schedule for Parkers Custom Clothing Care to come and pick up your wedding gown at no extra cost!
