  • Does Parkers Custom Clothing Care have regular pickup and delivery schedules?

    At Parkers Custom Clothing Care we offer a few different types of pick-up and delivery services.
    We can visit you two times a week, once a week, or on an on-call basis.

    Pickup and delivery days vary depending on your delivery address. We will place you on a scheduled route for either a Monday pickup with Thursday delivery, or a Tuesday pickup with Friday delivery. When we deliver your dry cleaning items on either Thursday or Friday, we will pick-up any new orders that you may have at that time and deliver them to you based upon your next scheduled delivery day.

  • Does Parkers Cleaners offer delivery to condominiums?

    Yes. For many buildings the concierges will gladly handle a resident’s laundry bag. Check with your concierge to make sure they offer this service. Pickup and delivery days will vary by your delivery address and can be offered twice a week, once a week, or on a call in basis.

  • Do you offer same-day or 2 hour cleaning?

    All of our locations offer same day service Monday – Saturday provided that your garments are dropped off at our store locations prior to 10:00am. In a rush?  We have 2 locations at 3125 Yonge Street just north of Lawrence, and 1744 Ellesmere Road, just east of McCowan that offer 2 hour dry cleaning services provided that you drop your garments off prior to 2pm. And, best of all, there are no additional charges for same day or 2 hour dry cleaning.

  • What services does Parkers Custom Clothing Care provide?

    We specialize in custom dry cleaning and shirt laundering, comforters, bedspreads and blankets, dresses, suits, even drapes and area rugs. Minor repairs and broken and missing buttons are replaced at no charge with tears under 1 ½ inches fixed for free. Experienced tailoring services are available.

    As proud members of the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists we are licensed to use the safest and most effective methods developed for cleaning and preserving your wedding gown, bridesmaids’ gowns and childrens’ outfits too!

  • Why should I use Parkers Custom Clothing Care for all my dry cleaning needs?

    Since 1876 Parkers Custom Clothing Care has been providing superior cleaning, pressing, and fast and friendly service. Our professional drycleaners are trusted by individuals and business people alike.

  • Where can I find a store price list? Where can I find your pickup and delivery price list?

    Our Pickup and Delivery prices are exactly the same as our in store prices. There are no hidden costs or surcharges. For a copy of our price list visit our pricing page or email us at info@parkersdrycleaners.com and we will be happy to email one to you.

  • How do I get a personalized bag for my dry cleaning and laundered shirts?

    All pickup and delivery customers automatically receive 2 personalized “Time Saver” laundry bags for their garments. Each “Time Saver” bag has an ID tag with customer name, address, phone number and preference for laundered shirts.

    Customers using our store locations simply have to ask our staff for their “Time Saver” bags and we will be happy to provide 2 personalized bags.

  • When can I expect my cleaning to be ready?

    Parkers Custom Clothing Care would prefer 2 business days for cleaning your garments. This allows us to thoroughly inspect and reclean any garments that need extra care and also gives us time to pay extra attention to the small details like buttons and loose hems. Parkers Custom Clothing Care offers FREE minor repairs on all items with split or torn seams smaller than 1 ½ inches. Buttons are carefully checked and replaced if cracked or missing. Tailors are available to fix or mend any garment that needs more attention. If an item has been promised for same day service, we will be in touch to see if extra time may be given for the items that require further care.

  • Does Parkers Custom Clothing Care offer quick dry cleaning services?

    All of our locations offer same day service Monday – Saturday provided that your garments are dropped off at the store by 9 a.m. and same day turnaround is requested. In a rush? Our 3125 Yonge Street location, just north of Lawrence, offers 2-hour dry cleaning services provided that you drop your garments off prior to 2 p.m.

  • Are there additional charges for either same day or 2hr cleaning services?

    No, we do not charge additional fees for same day or 2hr dry cleaning.

  • Is there a minimum for your pickup and delivery service?

    We value your business and will pickup orders of any size, never charging a fee.

  • For Pickup and Delivery if I require my garments back sooner, is that possible upon request?

    Yes. Get in touch with us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

  • How do I pay for my dry cleaning services?

    For any of our Parkers Custom Clothing Care locations you may pay by either cash, debit, MasterCard or Visa.

    For our pickup and delivery services we offer two types of payments, Visa or MasterCard. While you are registering you will be asked to fax us in your credit card information to our secure fax line. Should you prefer to give the number over the phone that is satisfactory, but we do require the signed forms returned by fax.

    Your card will be billed as each delivery to your home or office takes place.

  • Does Parkers Custom Clothing Care provide coupons and/or discounts?

  • What is Wet Cleaning?

    Wet Cleaning is an environmentally friendly and safe dry cleaning process that uses water and non-toxic bio-degradable detergents to clean sensitive fabrics. Wet Cleaning is gentler than hand washing. Your garments will be soft to the touch, kind to sensitive skin. The process is safe for your clothing and gentle to the environment.

  • Is it okay to leave my garments in the plastic from the dry cleaners? When storing my garments for the winter is it okay for me to leave them in the plastic?

    We do not recommend storing any garments in plastic bags for an extended period of time, as it will inhibit the garments’ ability to breathe. We recommend that you remove the plastic when you get home from the cleaners, but leave the paper dust cover intact, as it will protect the newly cleaned garments.

  • What if I need my UGG boots back quicker?

    Depending on the condition of your UGG boots when they come in, it is possible to have them returned quicker. When dropping your UGG boots off at any of our locations, simply ask the staff to please place a rush on them. Please allow a minimum of 4-5 business days.

  • Does Parkers Custom Clothing Care offer Wedding Gown Cleaning and Preservation? What is the process?

    Yes. As proud members of the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists we are licensed to use the safest and most effective methods developed for cleaning and preserving your wedding gown.

    All gowns are carefully inspected prior to cleaning for any damage, stains, special cleaning instructions and loose or missing beads. Our highly trained specialists will then decide which method of cleaning is best for the dress.

    After the gown has been cleaned we will contact you to come in and inspect the gown. Once you are satisfied with the cleaning, your gown will then be preserved in an acid free box with acid free tissue paper to protect each fold in the gown. Your wedding gown will be returned wrapped in a muslin cover.

  • How long does it take to have alterations done?

    Garments are usually ready in 2-3 business days. More complicated items such as relinings or alterations on wedding gowns or restyling may take 5-7 days. However if you need something in a rush, we have some on-site tailors who will try to meets your needs, and may be able to do the repairs while you wait.

  • Can I return the clear plastic bags and hangers that come with my cleaned garments?

    Absolutely! At Parkers Custom Clothing Care we are committed to playing our part in protecting the environment; that is why we are happy to recycle the hangers and plastic that we supply with your dry cleaning orders. All of our stores are equipped with specialized recycling bins for both the clear plastic bags and the hangers.

  • What happens if the weather is bad and my clothes are being delivered and no one is home?

    Our experienced drivers will use their discretion. If we deliver your garments to a designated location decided upon and the area is not covered or the driver feels the garments may get blown from the wind, or wet from rain or snow, we will arrange with you on the phone for an alternative time for us to come by.

  • How often should I dry clean my clothes?

    Garments that are soiled or affected by perfume, deodorant, perspiration or salt stains should be taken to the dry cleaners as soon as possible. Stains left for longer periods of time are more difficult to remove. During normal wear, clothes are exposed to air pollution and grit, which weakens the fibres of your garments.

    Light coloured garments, silks and linens should be cleaned after each wear as they tend to be more vulnerable to dirt and perspiration stains.

    Always have your garments dry cleaned before storing them at the end of a season.

  • Is Parkers Cleaners running any special environment friendly promotions?

    Parkers Cleaners is proud to announce that we have just replaced our folded shirt bags, with fabric reusable bags. When a customer brings in folded shirts for the 1st time, they will have their hand finished folded shirts returned in a reusable cloth bag. Customers are asked to use this bag when they bring in their dirty shirts. The bag will be washed on each visit and returned with your clean shirts placed inside. (Look for our reusable garment bags in the near future).

  • How long does it take to have my UGG boots cleaned?

    In order to ensure that your UGG boots come out looking the best possible, we ask for approximately 2 weeks to complete the cleaning cycle. This will give us time to re-clean your boots if necessary.

  • How do I sign up for pickup and delivery service?

    At Parkers Custom Clothing Care we want to simplify your busy life. There are 2 easy ways that you can sign up for our FREE pickup and delivery service.

  • Does Parkers Cleaners clean UGG boots?

    Yes Parkers offers cleaning services for all styles of suede UGG boots.

  • Do I need to be there when you pickup and deliver to my location?

    No. If there is no one home at the time of our arrival we will pickup or leave your garments in a spot designated by you. Many customers prefer their front door, back door, porch or garage. We suggest a covered area.

  • How long should I wait to have my wedding gown cleaned and preserved?

    The key to beautifully cleaning and preserving your gown is to begin the process as soon as possible. Stains will not have time to set and/or oxidize, which can make it much more difficult to achieve complete stain removal.
