I love wearing dresses during the summer months. Not only do they keep me cool, but they are comfortable and easily dressed up or down, depending on the shoes.

I used to go out shopping for dresses and get discouraged. All of the dresses I tried on were either too big in the waist, the bust, the length or the shoulders. No matter how much I loved the dress, I always put it back on the rack.

Last week, while at our Yonge and Lawrence location, I watched a customer try on a dress that our tailor had just finished altering. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing and was amazed when our tailor described how the dress looked before.

The next time I went shopping and saw a dress I loved, I did not put it back when the length was too long, I bought the dress and then took it to one of the Parkers Cleaners locations offering tailoring.
