Storing sweaters for next winter

The days are beginning to get warmer and the mornings are a little bit sunnier. It is now time to clean your winter sweaters before storing them for the summer months.

You should never store your sweaters or other garments without having them cleaned first. There may be invisible stains that cannot be seen on your garments.

What are invisible stains?

Invisible stains are caused by clear coloured liquids. These include liquids with a sugar content including white wine, and carbonated drinks such as Ginger Ale and Sprite.

Cleaning your garments before storing will also help avoid moths and other insects that feed at the food stains and could damage your garments.
