How many times have all you brides or grooms-to-be had someone suggest, probably in the midst of you sharing your planning woes, “Why not just elope?”

Over here at Parkers, we love destination weddings! Whether a secret elopement or a big family affair, there is something so perfectly whimsical about jetting off to say, “I do!” Just in case you need a little extra convincing that taking off to paradise is a romantic way to start your marriage, we gladly looked through piles of gorgeous photos to find a few to share with you.

Choosing the right destination attire

For those planning a destination wedding, make sure to think about where you will be when deciding on your attire. What you choose to wear to a beach ceremony will be a little different than what you’d wear standing below the Eiffel Tower. On top of that, regardless of where you end up, don’t forget that your wedding attire has to travel with you!

Luckily, there are as many beautiful dresses and classy suits out there to choose from as there are locations to be wed in. Oh, and remember that the sand, salt water, and dirt you bring home with you is inevitable, so don’t worry about it too much. We’re really good at taking care of that for you.
